Regionally or nationally accredited universities recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent international bodies.
Accreditation under international frameworks, such as:
European Qualifications Framework (EQF)
UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA)
Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) / TEQSA
US State-licensed doctoral institutions, including those authorized by state higher education commissions in the United States to offer doctoral-level programs.
